For those who aren't members and wish to read for free: Unfortunately, this page isn’t available for that. While I often provide a "friend share" link to bypass the paywall on certain pages, this particular one is an exception.
Many of my pages include the option to read for free, but only about one in four of my non-fiction Medium pages offers this opportunity. This way, potential readers can get a glimpse of what they might be investing in.
I only earn revenue from the views of paid members, which is why I limit free access. There are a few pages that aren't behind a paywall, but they are quite rare. Importantly, all my fiction—including short stories and poems—remains behind a paywall to ensure I can sustain my work as an author.

To address the question at hand:
My main character, Quaraun, has a husband named BoomFuzzy, who has become a fan favorite among my readers. His introduction to the story is anything but gentle; in his first appearance, he violently assaults a character, leading to a harrowing scene that unfolds over several pages.
In subsequent scenes, his actions become even more brutal, including the horrific murder of children, which he turns into a gruesome meal. His character is depicted as a ruthless warlord, leaving a trail of devastation in his wake.
Initially created as a one-off character, BoomFuzzy's story unexpectedly captivated readers, leading to a million copies sold within ten days, prompting his return in future works.
Despite his dark past, BoomFuzzy finds love with Quaraun, showcasing that redemption arcs aren’t obligatory for every character. Contrary to popular advice suggesting that characters must be redeemed, many readers seem to appreciate complexity over conventional morality.
