After watching the inspiring video below, I was moved to craft a narrative around the idea of an alien landing. Just imagine the possibilities if they truly exist!

What would your first questions be if they were to land? I would start with the essentials: the who, what, why, where, when, and how—something I picked up during my police training.

Here are some fundamental questions I would ask:

• What is the purpose of your visit?
• How did you arrive here?
• When did you arrive, and do you plan to leave soon? Will you leave with anything?
• Are you alone or do you have companions?

As I ponder this, more questions emerge:

• What are your intentions?
• How do you prefer to communicate?
• Are you here to give or take?
• What is your name, and how do you spell it?
• Do you feel safe here, or are you in danger?
• Can you illustrate the universe as you perceive it?
• What can you share about your home planet?
• What are your honest thoughts about Earth?
• What challenges does your civilization face, and have you considered solutions?
• Are you open to alternative viewpoints?
• What future aspirations does your race hold? Is there a role for humanity in that vision?
• What are your immediate needs?
• How do you envision collaboration?

The list could go on indefinitely, demonstrating just how much we can learn from an encounter with something entirely foreign. Their existence might challenge many of our long-held beliefs, and I believe that this inquiry could foster our evolution—assuming their intentions are peaceful.

While I remain skeptical about the likelihood of their arrival anytime soon, I find the prospect thrilling. Stepping into the unknown may be daunting, but it often leads to growth and understanding.
