In our daily lives, we often encounter various forms of energy loss, which can significantly impact our well-being. The degree of this impact varies by circumstance; some situations may only require us to ground, cleanse, and safeguard our energy, while others may necessitate specialized assistance.

We might be losing energy simply because it has become a habitual way of existing. Many people may not even recognize this continual energy drain, akin to a tap left running. Once we become aware and take steps to "turn off the tap," the improvement in our overall vitality and ability to create the life we desire can be astonishing.

Let’s examine the most prevalent sources of energy depletion: our thoughts and emotions.

Section 1.1: The Nature of Thoughts as Energy

Thoughts are a unique form of energy. When directed toward someone or something, they can significantly affect the recipient, especially when they are influenced by emotions. The lower the emotional vibration—like feelings of anger, fear, jealousy, or sadness—the more damaging the thought directed at you can be.

When thoughts are repeated frequently, they transform into thought-forms. These thought-forms may consist of repetitive thoughts from others that linger in your energy field. They can also manifest as the expectations others have of you, or even as your own negative thought patterns that have settled into your energy system over time.

Energy Drain from Envy and Low Vibrational Emotions

Consider the effects of a low-vibration emotion like envy. For example, when you start a new relationship and express your happiness, a single friend may feel envious. Similarly, when you receive a promotion at work, some colleagues may also harbor feelings of envy, whether consciously or unconsciously.

Envy has become so commonplace that it’s often socially accepted to say “I’m so jealous” when discussing personal achievements. This emotion usually arises from individuals who lack a strong sense of personal power and feel discontented with their own lives. They may not genuinely desire your possessions or achievements; rather, they crave the energy boost they perceive you have gained from them.

People often overlook the effort and sacrifices that accompanied your success; they simply wish to experience the positive energy that comes from your accomplishments. Thus, they attempt to siphon off your energy, seeking the highs without acknowledging the challenges you faced.

Chapter 2: Protecting Your Energy from External Influences

To guard against envy, it’s essential to recognize when you leave pieces of your energy with those who feel envious. This often occurs when you seek validation from others, inadvertently opening yourself up to their negative influences.

Celebrating your achievements is important, but it’s crucial to do so from a grounded position of inner strength. Ensure that your energy remains centered within your body, and stay vigilant for any incoming envy. Regularly cleanse away negative energies and avoid seeking validation through others' perceptions.

Before starting your workday, ground, cleanse, and protect your energy. Maintain awareness of your energetic state throughout the day and promptly address any shifts. If you feel an unwanted influence entering your field, take immediate action to cleanse it away.

Manipulation attempts from others also stem from their thoughts. People may try to influence your actions by invoking feelings like guilt or fear. However, by consistently grounding and protecting your energy, you can effectively shield yourself from these attempts. If you notice an emotional shift due to someone else’s influence, cleanse that energy and re-establish your protection.

As you cultivate this practice, you’ll find that others begin to recognize the difficulty in manipulating your energy. They may attempt to influence you initially, but if they see their efforts are futile, they will likely stop. Additionally, you may attract healthier, more supportive individuals into your life as your energy rises.
