Navigating Self-Doubt: Should I Continue Pursuing My Dreams?

Chapter 1: The Struggle of Self-Doubt
Have you ever found yourself questioning your efforts, feeling as though they aren’t sufficient? A few months back, I made a significant shift in my life, focusing on achieving financial independence as a freelancer or entrepreneur. I devoted nearly all my waking hours—about 90%—to various projects and endeavors.

Despite my relentless efforts, the outcomes have been disappointing. In five months, my earnings fall drastically short of what I would have achieved in a standard 9-to-5 position. It’s a difficult truth to confront.
Many people argue that a lack of commitment is the reason for failure. However, I find myself grappling with the opposite issue: an overwhelming dedication that leads me to invest my entire being into my work. I constantly strive to promote my projects and engage with like-minded individuals, yet here I am—stuck in a cycle of self-doubt.
I want to clarify that I’m not seeking sympathy from others; I tend to do enough of that on my own.
This brings me to the perennial question… Should I throw in the towel?
If my continuous efforts yield little success, and I’m sinking funds I can’t afford into ventures that may ultimately go nowhere, what am I truly working toward?
I’m not sure if I’m searching for answers or simply expressing my thoughts into the void.
Thank you for listening, void.

Chapter 2: Finding Inspiration in Music
Music can often serve as a source of motivation and reflection during tough times.
In the official music video for "Chasing Pavements" by Adele, the themes of uncertainty and perseverance resonate deeply with anyone feeling lost in their pursuits.
Similarly, EMMA DROBNÁ’s "Should I Give Up" offers a poignant exploration of the struggle with self-doubt, serving as an anthem for those on the brink of giving up.
